Moondo
moondo is a material studies and sustainable product concept made from recycled plastic for the masterpatch producer Gabriel Chemie.
The brief was to find new, sustainable ways and solutions to make the companies´ recycled masterpatch collection more attractive and raise awareness for the circular material economy plastic can have. Our proposed design solution was a lamp concept, which not only highlights the unique structure and aesthetics of the material. Thanks to the interactive packaging and usage (the lamp can be dimmed by manually turning the circle), the user is asked to get in contact with the circular material usage and therefore sustainable production of the lamp.
