STRIZZIS is an approach to a genderneutral toy which wants to foster free expression of emotions in kids. It consists of 6 building blocks with haptic add-ons that can help kids develop a sensitivity towards their feelings and imagination. Based on a field research where the outcome was that play scenarios are also often situations where many different emotions and therefore stereotypes intertwine, the design is focused on creating a neutral toy which can be subtle implemented in any (class)room to provide a safe space for any kind of emotional expression.
